Man, was Elseworlds dope or not and to top it all. They showed us the upcoming crossover which is Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Crisis on Infinite Earths is an American comic created by Marv Wolfman and published by DC comics.
It all started with The Monitor, a cosmic being who apparently has an evil twin called Anti-Monitor who came from an antimatter universe. So like all bad guys, he wants to destroy the entire Multiverse (Hope you already know what that is) and he could become the sole ruler of all realities, so Monitor recruited heroes from across time and space and he told them to set up towers that can merge the Multiverse back into a single universe like it was before Krona got curious (I won’t be surprised If you don’t know who that is)
However he gets killed by his protege, Harbinger who is possessed by one of Anti-Monitor’s demon, His death puts the last five parallel earths in a shield. Anti-Monitor recruits Psycho Pirate (remember the dude that wore the gold mask in Elseworlds) also giving him a part of his powers, he told him to cause bad blood between the heroes of Earth-S, Earth-X and Earth-4 but this fails.
Harbinger then recruits heroes from the remaining earths so they could kick Anti-Monitor’s ass on his home turf, they use Alexander Luthor. Jr’s powers to open a portal between the protected earths and the antimatter universe. After some serious ass kicking, Anti-Monitor retreats and Supergirl dies.
Meanwhile while all this is happening, some band of villians unite under Braniac to conquer the remaining earths. Anti-Monitor who created a new body for himself also tried to use an anti-matter cannon to destroy the shield protecting the five earths. The Flash dies stopping this attempt.
A very angry Anti-Monitor absorbs the energy of millions of worlds, vows to go back to time and stop the creation of the Multiverse. The Spectre tells the heroes about Anti-Monitor’s plan so they all travel back in time to stop him but the villians travelled back in time to the planet Oa to prevent psycho scientist Krona from creating the technology necessary for Anti-Monitor’s plan to succeed.
The villians fail and Krona continues his experiment, Luthor opens a portal between the positive and anti-matter universe, Anti-Monitor uses the power to capture the heroes but Spectre with a lot magic power creates an energy blast which shatters time and space making the five earths merge Into a single universe.
The heroes return to the present, but only a few remember the past realities. Anti-Monitor attacks again and this time he transports the new earth to the anti-matter universe and he summoned a horde of shadow demons. He starts fighting with Kal-L (Superman from Earth 2), Alexander Luthor of Earth 3 and Superboy of Earth prime also with some help from Darkseid.
At the end, Anti-Monitor is reduced to a flaming head, he crashes into a star and he is killed by Kal-L. Since only the four of them that remembers the original past before the earths merge, Alexander sends Earth 2 Superman, Earth 2 Lois Lane, Earth Prime Superboy and himself to a pocket dimension.
Okay we’re done with that, now let’s relate this with the present status of the Arrowverse. If you have read the comic, you would see that most of the characters in the comic are not in the Arrowverse but we do have a few like Flash and Supergirl.
From the outline I wrote above, we see that Supergirl dies and Flash also dies. Very sad, maybe this is the reason why Nora came back to stop her father from dying. I know it’s too early but remember what happened when Nora came back, yes the timeline became messed up so what if, Barry’s day of death was also affected.
Supergirl also died but nothing has been shown about her death so her’s might not really happen. I talked about Psycho Pirate and his major role in the crisis and also he made friends with Deegan (Bad combination for the Arrowverse), so expect some serious stuff.
And now finally Arrow,he made a deal with Monitor to save Barry and Kara but this deal must be related to the crisis upcoming. Well till then but just know that if any theory comes up, it’s my job to keep you in the loop.
